Two Trailers Drop for Spider-Noir on Prime Video

With a serious film noir feel and the producers of Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse on producer duties, Spider-Noir on Prime Video looks set to leave scorched earth in its wake. Created by Orien Uziel, writer on both Mortal Kombat and The Cloverfield Paradox, this full-length trailer puts Nicholas Cage front and centre as Ben Reilly. Private eye for hire and the erstwhile Spider in this title. What follows are introductions to Brendan Gleason’s Silvermane, Li Jun Li’s Cat Hardy, and a rogue’s gallery of villains to make those odds even more insurmountable.

With serious shades of Sin City in its visual palette, Spider-Noir looks set to be another impressive expansion of the Lord and Miller multiverse, that has singlehandedly made them a much sought after duo of late. With audiences able to choose between the over-saturated colour version, or a more mean and moody monochrome trailer, Prime Video are making sure that this latest foray into comic book territory for the streamer feels authentic and covers all bases.

With anticipation for this Nicholas Cage headliner currently off the chart, and Project Hail Mary showing impressive legs with over $600m at the box office and still going, Spider-Noir could not have been teed up at a better time. Still a month out from release, this Spiderman expansion with serious gangster vibes delivers the goods setting up audiences for a character-driven comic book drama unlike any other; May 29th can never come soon enough.
