10 years after the Percy Jackson franchise finished with Logan Lerman as the eponymous hero, Disney+ have brought back everyone’s favourite demi-god with Percy Jackson and the Olympians, due to hit screens on 20 December.
With the original author Rick Riordan involved once more, audiences get to embrace Walker Scobell (The Adam Project) in this latest incarnation, that sees Percy knee deep in warmongering Greek Gods as well as mixing it up with myths and legends, not to mention a minotaur or two. To mark this occasion, and for the betterment of all involved in this resurrection, Disney+ have launched a new trailer that dives headlong into this unique universe.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians will premiere on Disney+ from 20 December.
